Level up suggestions!

Does anyone have suggestions about how to earn more experience to level up? I know Kim suggests dates to me every day, but I don't think you really get that many points vs the money/energy spent.

I've been throwing parties like crazy to get fans to move back up the list, and the exp is okay... but I feel like I've been on level 28 forever! I need to unlock that red dress and the lacy outfits soon, I have the funds ready to go. Haha.

I've been #1 forever so I might not be much help... but parties are great. The fastest I've ever leveled up has been the last week or so.... adding a ton of friends on Google+. Every time I bump into one & say hello I get between 10-50 level pts... that's a lot! It seems like you can tap each friend once per day... sometimes I just go in & out of Oak in Soho & get tons of level pts... since there's someone new there every time you go in. It really adds up!

And dates. a nice expensive 8 hour date in Vegas helps. Ahh, the good life. Romance and Parties.

I'll have to get some GC friends I guess. I didn't know you got exp from running into them in the game. If anyone needs any GC friends, please add me.

I have been avoiding 8 hour dates like the plague. I only need to up my gold hearts 100 points more, then the 8 hour dates may not be so bad...

Mindy, u can actually get gold hearts from buying interiors for ur houses by cash and many of them are much cheaper than spending on clothing

From my own expirence parties will level you up the quickest.

The higher levels are harder to rank up & take longer. It used to take me about a month or so to level up. So recently I decided to experiment. From 29 to 30 I did Simon's gigs & lots of dating plus whatever new quests came up. It took me almost 6 weeks. 30 to 31 took me about 2 and half weeks doing all parties. I ranked up at the valentine's update and just ranked up again today.

I also did the comeback so I don't know if that helped. During this time my focus has been on one game over the other so I'm gonna try this theroy out on my other character who didn't do the comeback.

Like Alcoholics said, the higher levels take longer. But right now I'm just doing parties at my house to get as many fans as I can to be at the top list once again.

Parties are good also if you don't already have a private jet and car save up for them and then go around tapping everything to collect extra experience points (and energy for parties ) it definitely makes a difference

Good idea. I've really only bought the Calabasas house because I'm a bit of a money hoarder.

I do have the jet and a car, but my time cruising around for energy is pretty limited to the time the baby decides to sleep. lol

I can suggest some cheap houses u can buy to boost, they're located in Paris (15k), Punta Mita (8k), Tribeca (10k)

Wow. I bought Punta Mita and Tribeca when I first started playing a good 7 months ago! I don't think I've ever played a game for this long... I had no remembrance of their cost. I CAN'T believe that's how cheap they were to get! I think I got used to paying $70,000 for a house, I kinda figured that's what I paid for all them. I never go to Punta Mita and I only pass thru Tribeca when I'm tapping my way thru NY but I never check on the Loft. I don't remember what it looks like, and to think I furnished all those places too. Oh well, I'm building equity right???

To tell the truth, I didn't even spare a look at those cheap houses at first, simply cuz I thought....they were workshops/office buildings ROLF!!! Didn't even care to enter to check inside. All I did was wandering around Calabasas, Florence, Sydney, London and my soul now is still lingering in Dubai lol. Worked my butt off to have a dream house, how naive and noob I was:D

But now I really love my lovely lil cozy home in Paris, Tribeca flat isn't bad at all too. And their furnitures are surely as cheap as their houses! Not only saving me a bunch of cash but also boosting up lots of stars and hearts too

I’ve been trying more than a few months to level up, I always get 5 stars and do 8 hr projects, I’m number 1 it’s driving me insane! Is it based on spending k stars?

No try doing 3 hour parties or reality shows in Bel Air you level up really fast doing that.

My tip is Tap all your contacts, even if you're not in the mood, or in a hurry trying to get energy. Those xp help.  A lot.  
Does the Casino give xp?  If you have extra cash the Casino is great for energy and stars I honestly don’t notice that.  But I was ther took 1 6000 spin, walked out with 20 stars.  But if that gives xp it;s worthwhile
