Game reset, any advice

I was playing the Kim k game the other day on my iPhone 5S(phone and game completely up to date). And I clicked into another app then clicked back into my game and it reset all the way to the beginning. And no I didn't click restart game in the Help section. I turned my phone on and off.
No my phone isn't jail broken. I've sent in a help desk ticket with all the details and game id.
Has this happened to anyone? If so did you get your game back to where you were at before it reset. I was on my first comeback had the jet and all the house but 2.
