Is there a maximum number of friends you can have on KKH through Game Center?

I've been getting a ton of GC requests lately because I am gifting entire wardrobes to people but sometimes, they don't show up in my contact list in game. Is this just a glitch or is there an actual limit to how many people show up in your game?

For GC Friends I think 500 max before not sure if they change it:)
