I was wondering if anyone have tried dating multiple partners and if yes what happened?

It works totally fine while you're actively dating them. But when you're done, they all dump you, and then you have multiple people you must pay to interact with ever again.

just more needy people you have to take out. one of my games is currently dating 3 people. variety is the spice of life lol

It makes sense to me to date only NPCs.

I don't think there will be a huge effect. If you're married, you can still play the field as long as you keep dates with the spouse. Same thing for a boy/girlfriend, as far as I know. I don't think it matters much whether you go on five dates with one person, or one date each with five people unless you want to get married. If you go on many dates with one person in rapid succession, it often triggers the marriage proposal conversation. Or it has in my experience.
