Game crashing since today's event began?

I've been playing all day, totally LOVE this event btw especially the hair and the new eyes (which I wish I got) mad props to Glu! But anyway I keep getting the "Unfortunately KKH has stopped" message, I reopen it and it's okay for about 3-5 minuets and crashes again. I've tried clearing the cache but didn't work...is anyone else having this issue as of today? Glu..help?

Now that I think of it, I haven't had any ads at all for the past few days, and it seems like anytime one would pop up that's when it crashes, I've had this issue before, it was with one of the updates from awhile back. I had some unused play credit so I purchased a small star pack to see if it would fix it....so far so good *knock on wood*
