Tap-able item not moving

I haven't been able to tap the lamppost with the hanging flower baskets in Calabasas since this morning. I tap on it every 5 minutes or so and it doesn't do anything, doesn't even move slightly and 'pop' without giving energy/money etc.

Has this ever happened in anyone else's game?

I've been tapping them fine, there's 2 in Calabasas, does both not work for you?

Hmmm, I'm i calabasas. Let me check. Some times you have to tickle it, pat it, smack it. Sometimes there is just a dud. All mine are working there. If it persists past the weekend, we can try and trouble shoot it for you. Right now they're super busy fixing update crashing issues. But not getting a payout is very annoying. Once in a while a whole street will be stubborn. I hate when they pop and deliver nothing.

Hope you're enjoying the weekend event in spite of this.

It's the first one that's not working.

It's still doing it, I've never known this to happen before. It's not a major problem, it's just weird how it's not even popping. I'll ignore it until after the weekend.

I've been tapping at the same lamppost all day and it's working now. I switched off my phone and restarted it, maybe it was something to do with that?!

I feel bad for posting such a tiny problem after noticing in other threads the real difficulties people are having, hope everyone gets sorted in time to enjoy the event.

Omg, Amy don't feel bad! Everyone should post their issues, if any. Glad you sorted it out yourself. Sometimes I have this problem where I can't tap the daily gift box, and a rebooting of game/phone helps. Maybe that was the case with yours.

Nai is absolutely right. NEVER EVER EVER feel bad about posting a question like that. Now, my eyes are opened to another trick to try when something gets glitchy.
