6 hour tasks... Possible bug?

Something I've noticed in the game that's been bugging me (Hahahaha) for a while is how LONG it seems to take to fill up a 6 hour task.
I find that I can fill up at least 2 stars with a full load of energy (I currently get 37) on an 8 hour task but the 6 hour ones seem to use up all my energy just to fill up ONE star.
Has anybody else noticed this? Is it a bug or is it just the game being annoying?
It just doesn't seem to make any sense to me that 8 hour tasks can be finished quicker than 6 hour ones when surely it should be the other way around?
