Using K Stars to get contacts

I am at level 16 now and have started using K Stars to add contacts who are A listers. How do you use your K Stars?

I use my kstars for basic necessities for my doll, her hubby, & babies such as clothing/accessories/hairstyles. I also use them for certain storyline gigs to charm some NPC on some quests.

I don't think that it's necessary to charm A-lister NPCs with kstars. I remembered when I started playing my game, the A-listers NPCs were very rude to my doll because they think that they are more famous than her. So basically they refused to network with my doll and I didn't pay my earned kstars so that my doll could become friends with them. I would recommend to check your top star list on your game to see if the NPCs are less popular than your doll because the ranking is important once you move up on the top star list.
