Have to repurchase items I already own?

I have had the 2015 lace dress and the long fur trimmed dress since they came out. Ever since the sale started, they have been in my wardrobe, but with the option to repurchase them! Other items that I already owned that are included in the sale are fine.

Is anyone else having this problem?

    We've been assured that when the game is updated the clothes will return to their rightful places. DO NOT BUY THEM AGAIN. ;) You are not alone in this situation. :)
