Not receiving gifts/Facebook issue

Hi guys.
So, it's been a while since all my facebook friends hasn't changed clothes. First I thought "k they can be just not playing anymore" but I date my real life bf in the game and I realized that his clothes isn't updating, so it's a real problem.
Also, myself and he keep sending gifts for each other that never arrives. What should I do? We spent a lot of stars for nothing.
