Only 9 days till Christmas, when all through the house...
Nah, I got nuthin.  Nutcrackers have officially invaded,
along with candles and garland, as anticipated they are
are strewn, placed and have landed in every last room.   And yet, there are still more boxes in the attic and basement.
Creativity starts when I make the last purchase, I guess
thank goodness for Amazon. 
But seriously,  as the year draws to an end, are you ready to celebrate?
Or what do you have left to do?  It's all I can do to keep my mind on tomorrow's event!

I just assume you all have people to do it all for you.  From the gift planning to the house cleaning, to the wrapping!  OMG so much to do, so little time to even plan it all out!

Wow Kim, If you could just open the thread for us that would be great.
We can finish up our SYS event, and then plan for the rest of the week.

I am sure it wouldn’t be keep the camera rolling event since we just had it last week. But it is anyone guess at this point.

Gathering of the Christmas Goodies!  

Yup, looks like a Christmas theme for the weekend.  I’m thinking @trashley is right. It wouldn’t be another a Reality Weekend so soon, and parties?  We did just have one, and wouldn’t have NYEve be more of a party weekend, than the one b4 Christmas?  so, I’m thinking professional as well. Or....dating would be hearts not candies.....vip..tbh that would be fitting (But cruel) the weekend b4 Christmas. It would echo real life.  lol.  

Calling All Dolls: 

  For the past 2 years a member has  posted a nightly celebration of Chanukah. That member is not here anymore, and The series of nightly candle gifs were made by me and belong to the forum,  so if anyone would like to take over we can celebrate again this year.  If you celebrate Chanukah and are interested, please let me know.  Send me a message.  Chanukah starts next t Sunday and we could use your help.

yay 5Star Christmas!    I like these events, easy to tap, no thinking required.  my mind will be mush.  I’m trying to incorporate gluten free dairy free poultry and beef free food into my traditional turkey dinner.  Cranberry sauce.....asparagus, and for some reason crescent rolls are ok, so........anyone with that kind of dietary expertise.........help?  How do I make mashed potatoes and stuffing without butter or milk?

@kokokokonut for the potatoes, I would substitute extra-virgin olive oil for the butter & milk (and maybe throw garlic cloves in when boiling the potatoes for some flavor)

First black box. I am happy whenever I get an item in a box. I styled it by dying it ice blue and pairing it with the TS dress. Not sure I’ll finish to 600 this week, but at least it’s a good start.

I will Eli will def try the Xv olive oil.  thank  You both for that.  @oopsididitagain @TrashleyKKH. I’m trying that today, fingers crossed and yeas to the garlic.  I love garlic in cooking.

ohhhh i am vegan and would LOVE to help!! we do the turkey-less roast from Trader Joes (it comes with gravy and stuffing inside the roast). Mashed potatoes are easy - just use non dairy butter (earth balance or I can't believe its not butter) and non dairy milk (almost milk works best)

@kokokokonut Unsweetened almond milk should work. If you try margarine instead of butter double check that it does not contain gluten - not all brands are GF. Also be sure to check your seasonings. If it's any type of mixed seasoning they will sometimes throw in grains as filler. 

Do crescent rolls not contain wheat? I would double check on that too lol

Maybe a vegan meatloaf or vegan shepherd's pie for a "main dish" turkey alternative? Both can be made in a smaller portion.

@kokokokonut I'm vegan and I usually eat mashed potatoes with oat milk, but my taste buds are kinda weird... So for the safer option, I would recommend almond milk

I know.  the crescent roll baffles me.  Apparently she is sensitive to but can have a little gluten?  I’m taking my cues from her, but @thelifeofRaeRaesent me a great link....a vegan site with Soooooo many recipes. I’m excited about this.  If there is a recipe for cinnamon  rolls I’m in.  I’m thinking there are a few things she’ll allow herself to ‘cheat’ on a few things. Pepperidge farm stuffing mix and crescent rolls are hers.  The lawn guys did the fall cleanup this ,toning.  It looks so pretty. Now hit us with a snow storm and make it a white Christmas.

My mom has a gluten allergy and all I heard about for months was what she couldn't eat anymore lol

She kept a box of all the stuff she was gonna throw out and instead gave it to me and woman had like 10 (!!!) cornbread mixes
