Is there any contest for couple of the year as Ray keeps saying?

You and your SO can become top couple, but it’s not really a contest.its like when you hit number one with fans, it’s achievement based...keep dating till you have more couple points than anyone else in your top couples list.  When you reach number 1, you get a prize of some stars. But only once in yoyr game can you collect. If you become #1 withJohn, you get the prize. And you get the trophy in your trophy room.  Slater’s on your so is Mel, you can become #1 with Mel, but you receive no additional prize.

Later on there is an amazing race type storyline. Where you and your so compete against crystal and chad, but that’s just a storyline.

Mel is just another name.   Like Tom and Melissa, or Tom and Melvin 
 I was saying if you and Tom reach couple number 1, and you have never been number 1 before, you get a prize of stars.   Later on, if you break up with Tom, and start dating Melvin, or John, or Janis etc, and become number 1, you already got the prize with Tom, you don’t collect extra stars if you become number 1 again, with a different partner.
