How come for some of the dresses when you’re voting on looks for show your style after clicking “get this look” you can buy the dress through that but the same dress isn’t available when you try to buy it through the closet? Can you buy those same dresses somewhere else?

Some of those items are from previous weekend events that were available for a limited time but ever since the introduction of diamonds you can purchase them when you press the “get this look” in the voting booth. Sadly, unless there is some form of sales ( such as those in Kimiversary or whatever else ) you get purchase them on the closet. However at the moment you can’t purchase them somewhere other than say from your squad members or the voting booth in SYS
