I think it means you have 907 Star points, you need 1071 Star points to earn the Free Filled in Bonus Star

The clothing you can shop will be marked with a star or heart.
Hearts are for dates, when you have the points required (meaning when you have bought enough "heart"-clothing) you have a full heart when you start a date. Same goes for stars, but stars help with professional gigs. When you enter your closet you see the amount of points you have of each, on the left side.
