Or did I sign a "play at your own risk" contract! Darn it. What the heck do I tell Verizon? My screen cracked while I was ferociously tapping little purple bubbles during a virtual party? Eek. Oh well I have an upgrade in a couple months. I can still play. Thank goodness. I would go into straight withdrawal.

You are so right, Verizon is really good to me. I had an issue where my phone wouldn't charge. I had to take out the battery and charge it seperarely and keep switching back and forth between two batteries... anyways I didn't have the insurance at the time but when
I went to Verizon, the tech was nice enough to add insurance right at that moment and back date it a month (since I guess you have to wait 30 days to make a claim once you add it) and I had a new (refurbished) phone sent to me within a couple days. Now if only they would join the "rollover data" club.

but guys, i need your honest opinion. i couldn't play pretty much at all friday and today well i woke up like 1 hour ago and finished 3 parties so far. i need 193 stars for the white dress. my music video shoot will start in 5 hours, and the event is over in 9 hours. plus i have to do 1 3 hour gig at hollywood before the music video to be able to unlock it. according to my calculations, i need to throw 10 parties + do the 3 hour gig simon gave me + do the music video to get the white dress, and the brown dress of course. do you think it's possible for me to get the white dress or should i give up and just aim for the brown one?
also, i'm wondering what happens if i call simon when i still have 1 gig to do. do i HAVE to do this useless 3 hour gig or can i call simon to do the music video and leave this other gig for later?? this random 3 hour gig is at mirimount, which is the music video shooting place (i think)

the thing is, i played for like 1 month or less when the game just started (like in june/july i think), and i didn't even play too much. when i reached #1 i stopped playing, since the game was veeeery boring before -- we didnt have most of the locations we have now, i barely had any quests, just the mini gigs i could choose, etc.
but i came back in january and with all the amazing updates and new clothes and gifts and all the game is much more fun now!! when i came back i had like 1k cash and was pushed back to like #100 in the a-list. i was kinda trying to save to buy calabasas and the car, buuuut with all these amazing new clothes every time i had 10-15 grand i'd buy some new outfits lol
but now i'll start to save. like for real. serious saving. no more new 8k+ clothes for me lol!!!

Just don't go to the location and start the gig. It'll wait for you forever. You already know this, right? If it was one of the two prompts to start the Penthouse quest (and thus mentioned the rapper or the Penthouse) then yes, you needed to do it. Everything else could wait forever.

I found the best way to get Simon to bug some other meal ticket and leave me alone is to say yes to one of his jobs, and then do it when I'm ready. Just like Luz suggested.
