No weekend event yet

i haven't received the 4th july event yet. usually it opens at 5am e.s.t. every week. i did get an energy sale offer. i hope that didn't foul up the event.

reset and redownloading the app did not solve.

ios 8.3 iphone 6

I haven't got it. I'm in Australia, too. I play on iPad, iOS 8.3, currently downloading iOS 8.4 to see if that will help. I got the energy sale and the decorations, but nothing else.

This weekend's event is running on KK:H v3.1.1 only.
Are all of you having this problem updated to v3.1.1 already?

yes. i even deleted the app and redownloaded from the app store

I did this too. I updated my iPad, deleted the app and downloaded it again from the store. All I've got now is the option to open the starshop...

Before version 3.1.0 I never had problems with this game, everything was perfect. Since the update, I have a lot of glitches including this event. I am very very disappointed.

I am running v3.1.1 (iPad iOS 8.3) - no event has appeared in my game.

EDIT: ugh, I was updated on my iPhone, but NOT on the iPad. Going to fix that now. Crossing my fingers it works now!

Sorry I fell asleep. I was up too early. Glu is aware of the issue, they're working on it, and I'll see if we can get an update. But Glu is aware of the thread and the issue.

I'd like to assure any future people that this has affected some in the USA. I haven't got the event either but my friends have. At first I thought it was just picking on males but I see it did some females dirty. But I am glad Glu is going to fix this because I definitely love this event.

Just in case I am still asked: Yes I am running the most up to date KKH. iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3.

I'm having the same problems. No event, but the energy sale and some scattered fireworks around towns. Since the San Fran update, everything seems to have gone bust

I'm one of many who didn't get the event. I've tried everything - reinstalling, closing down every app open, submitting a ticket - to get it to work. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. My question is, if I don't get it before time is up and Glu manages to fix it, will I get the event as kind of like a backlog so I don't miss out? If not, is it possible to be gifted weekend event items? I'm sorry if it's been answered already. I'm just pretty bummed about this, normally it doesn't happen to me!

So I have the same problem that everybody, I see the fireworks and balloons, and I even see people from my list wearing stuff from the event but I can't get the event

I also uninstall and reinstall but still no event, I am using iOS 8.3 and the latest version of the game.

I had problems before with Khloé's birthday event, where Kim called me to met her but when I went she was not there and and the call pop up every time I change of scenario, then when the event started when I went to parties the stars did not raise in the event bar, but as you notice they manage to fix everything on the same weekend, they release another mini update at the Appstore and all the problems were fixed, I just hope the same happens this weekend.

I'd hope they fix it. I don't think I was ever aware of the baby glitch but Glu seemed to be pretty responsive in the past from what I've seen. I'll stay positive that they'll make some type of resolution.
