Top couple quest

Hi, I’m new to the game and was wondering if I broke up with the guy and change to another would it affect my top couple ranking?

List: A+++
Doll’s name: Kate DeMille (name of 2 of my favourite heroines from my favourite urbane fantasy author Ilona Andrews)

    Your couples ranking is based on the relationship between you and the person yuo are dating. If you switch partners, your couple ranking changes. While your achievements don’t care if you date one or one thousand, the relationship points with each partner is what helps determines your couples ranking.

    and, without connecting to Facebook, your friends will not appear as they are currently dressed. Game Center was all but removed when they upgraded iOS either to v9 or v10. Not sure which.
    If you are having trouble DO NOT UNINSTALL THE GAME!
