I love the hair this sys so much I can't!!! Assuming the hair is the last earnable prize, hopefully I can successfully finish this SYS cuz there is pretty much no way I'm getting 1st in trendsetters with such a gorgeous hair up for grabs 😫

Oh so after 99% negative feedback on diamonds, Glu listened to the 1% who opened their pocketbooks or hacked, and then went with what could squeeze out every last drop of cold hard cash while they stick it to unhappy customers and let the game die. Shocker!!!!! Congrats. You're the gaming equivalent of the Trump administration.
Newsflash: Your game is dying because you don't listen to feedback. You never cared about your customers.
I'm so glad I have been suggesting a 'Get This Look' button, just for you to put one in that is another freebie for hackers and virtually unaffordable or unethically price gauging enough for the rest of us to have to hard pass.
And if I hear a responding lie that diamonds aren't being hacked, when I see the evidence All. Over. social media, I will go through the roof. So save it. And I will save every elite coveted item from my closet from being worn in SYS, and suggest every long term player do the same.

Honestly, just stop giving us lip service that you're listening. It's a slap in the face.
Yep I’ve seen so many hackers with diamonds, it’s crazy
it’s just so sad that glu aren’t listening but I guess the truth is that ppl are buying diamonds so why would they? They are here to earn money, they are making it. Money talks, they aren’t going to listen to the people saying it’s unfair because there’s ‘nothing’ in it for them. (‘nothing’ because I honestly believe that ppl would spend more if things were fairly priced)
@Ohemilie People have indeed stopped giving money to this game and stopped playing outright out of disgust at Glu price gauging and bad treatment of long time big spenders.
omg I love love love the earnables and the trendsetters. I need them. But I agree with the above comments about how easily we can earn items and how they are priced at how long it took to earn them. Im about to be saving for 3 months to get an item, and I bet it took one weekend to earn for free. Treat us like we have an ounce of common sense please.
Put a cap on Trendspenders! Give 20 daily videos to paying players! Bonus star for parties!
I believe their point isn't that these items are not easy to earn (for free) during their respective events, but that once the event is over, they are not available until at least a year later as they are released as throw back items in giftboxes or tb kollections. This lack of availability is what makes them more coveted items and in essence raises their values...

i haven't seen anyone posting anything about being able to hack diamonds yet. the only people i've see complaining about the diamonds (on social media/ not here) are known kstar hackers that are upset that they can't hack the diamonds yet...

Sad how many players cared for a few days and now they’re just accepting the diamond issue. This is another reason Glu won’t do anything. Obviously once we start buying them and stop complaining they won’t do anything.
I DO NOT understand Glu’s actions. They keep punishing paying customers! Over and over again, it’s sickening. They do nothing, nothing ( the bare minimum ) to keep hackers away... And then they introduce this new currency so it can’t be hacked.. And what? We are the one paying the price. After giving this a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I WILL NOT purchase diamonds again until changes are made. I TRULY regret my first ( and last ) purchase. With that being said, please do not condemn people who decide to buy them. It’s their choice. There’s no reason to fight over this, IT IS NOT WORTH IT!
the earnables are really cute. don't know how hard i'll try though because my interest in this game keeps dwindling so why bother long term.
i'm telling you all, we're going to open the game on sunday to a call from Kim that's like "hey doll! i'm donating 8 diamonds so your peasant self can buy a bracelet!"
that or the prices were lowered by like 3 diamonds.
And I will save every elite coveted item from my closet from being worn in SYS, and suggest every long term player do the same.
Thank you so much for saying this. I play for free and feel bad about it (even though it's a free to play game), but I have no incentive to pay when they'll take away my free daily stars and when they disregard so much feedback. But I've had so much fun with this game and put years of time into it. There aren't many other games I can say that about.
That being said, this quote really summed up my feelings about diamonds. One of the few advantages I have as a fair, free player is that I've been able to build up my wardrobe for a long time through years of work. So it really rubs me the wrong way when people can throw a few bucks at the screen and get what I spent time on with no effort on their part. Your competition can literally steal your strategy and use it against you!
Last SYS I *hated* submitting my more coveted dresses knowing that they could be copied with absolutely zero effort. It also completely takes the game aspect out of this game. Instead of working and putting time into getting a few items every week, people can just buy them. It's not doing reality shows or dates or storylines or anything that can be fun. It's just buying.
This really might be the thing that drives me away, and that makes me sad. It's fun doing events and playing dress up! But this feature truly shows how they're changing this game. They took away storylines and messed with TB boxes, thereby giving no incentive to actually play the game as it originally was. Diamonds are just another nail in the coffin, and they don't make me want to stay
@zepphrius I feel ya. For me it isn't even so much that people can buy, but that people get it absolutely free and everything they want to their hearts content with stolen diamonds.
It's a little bummer that everyone can have all the dresses I accumulated from day one, but I understand they would like them, and I try not to feel like its x'ing out the competition, even though it kind of does.
But it's the pricing normal players out completely aspect that really bothers me. They're acting like it's a giving experiment in Socialism and Glu is our benevolent leader but it's just hardcore Capitolistic price gauging where cheating gets you everywhere.
@Savagekkh that's how i felt when I saw people buying up every last tb giftbox available because they're available for kstars and they are able to buy crazy amounts of kstars from hackers... or hack the game themselves.. i haven't seen anyone be able to hack diamonds yet, though.. where are you seeing that? (just curious)

I'm with the majority about the diamonds. I don't think it's fair to have to work for 3/4 months just to be able to buy a bracelet. Really, the only choice you have is to shell out money if you want to buy a dress or two in less than a year, when they were originally earned for free. I only started playing in October, so obviously I missed a ton of events and cool clothes and have a limited closet. The 'Get This Look' feature sounded like the perfect thing for me to fill up on some missing items! Of course I expected I would have to work for them, but to this extent? It's not even worth it 😪
I’m sure hackers always buy up tons of gift box items with their k-stars too. People with hacks or more money to spend will always have better/more stuff. I don’t think diamonds change that reality.
Looking forward to earning more diamonds hopefully in the next SYS!

False.
We have the obvious case of auras priced at 30 diamonds, hair/gowns at 25 diamonds, and junk for 15 diamonds and below.
