what are these used for? You get them in the style challenges and in the daily boxes but I have no idea what they are use for and why’s there’s loads of different types

    When you tap on a clothing item, you'll see the list of dyes at the bottom of your screen like the picture posted above. It shows you how many you own of each color and how many you have. If you have enough, you can dye that clothing item into a color of your choosing. So say you have some purple dye, you can dye a normally green shirt into a purple shirt and so on. You'll still keep the original version of the item and to access the dyed version you'll tap on it and then select the color you want.
