I’d like to take this opportunity to share some news with you all. We’ve made the decision to sunset Kim Kardashian: Hollywood—starting today, the game will no longer offer in-app purchases, and it will also be removed from all app stores and will no longer be available for download. Players who already have the game installed on their devices can continue to play Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and use any existing in-game virtual currency until April 8, 2024. After April 8, 2024, the game will become inaccessible for all players.

I appreciate you telling us. I really wish Glu would have made an announcement months ago. This game is very special to me (I've been playing since high school) and I knew it wouldn't last forever, but it would have been nice to know that this past seasons was going to be the last beforehand. I have 12,000 K stars, I would have absolutely spent them opening extra mega boxes if I knew.

Shout out to @kokokokonut for being an AMAZING mod all these years!!!

I really do have fond memories of this game and it was a great distraction from a lot of tough times these past 9 years. I'm very, very sad to see it go.

this is absolutely insane, and what a terrible way to go about announcing it! shows how little they truly cared about this game 😭😭 I started playing this in 6th grade and now I’m 22, we’ve been through it all and to have it go is just so sad. thank you to everyone for making such a great community and giving people like me a reprieve from life! KKH forever 🫶🏻❤️😭

EDIT : update, I thankfully had my tickets refunded through apple. such a shame they wont continue SYS through April. Shame on Glu for not notifying SYS participants that NYE in NYC was going to be the last ever SYS and to let them continue buying ticket packs. That is the ultimate shady business tactic, and it has shown me that EA has truly chewed up and spit out this company. I have been with Glu since they bought out Playfirst, which is where I started on this decade and a half long journey and I now am debating on if I would even support a sister game or a Stardom revival anymore, seeing how poorly this company treats its most loyal customers. I hope whoever’s left at this company sees this and feels guilty because that is so, pardon my french, scummy! I don’t like to use words like that but it truly the only way to describe it. I was lucky enough to get my refund but others who are in the same boat aren’t having the same luck, which is just ridiculous. I can understand denying diamond pack refunds but tickets? a now invaluable currency? Whatever, enough of me ranting, this will most likely be my last time on this website as I cannot stand to support the monster EA has created any longer. The community was absolutely wonderful, and oh how I wish I could say the same for the company.

Thank you for confirming it eggsandbananas but I really wish that we could’ve gotten a warning before hand, I mean many of us already knew that it was going to end but would’ve really appreciated if we were told, bc I would’ve opened up more season mega boxes, and now there’s nothing to do, since seasons & sys are gone. 😭💔 But I can’t really say that I’m surprised that glu didn’t tell us anything bc that’s how they are. 🙃

The amount of us who started playing this game as kids and kept doing so through earning degrees, starting careers, life changes like marriage and children, shows how special KKH truly is (was 🥺). Sucks extra because it’s the last game of this kind since Stardom etc are long gone.

I hope EA/Glu can one day start another similar game, I’ll definitely be first in line to play. I’ll never forget how exciting it was to refresh the forum for Kalinda’s spoilers on Wednesday for weekend events, and get the new update to see all the new features.

I know this game has been a zombie for many years, but I really do miss being a teenager and looking forward to the weekends for the event and two new outfits. Such an iconic game, I hope Glu puts the assets in another fashion app.

I remember before Kalinda, we would all gather early Friday before the 5am Weekend Event started. We’d count it down to see the GB items and start the event. Such very good times.
