Not really. Given the level of my sluggers (I have the last 10 of the sluggers awarded from slugfest) I’ve always made a decent amount of gold, but I’m no better than an average slugfest player. I also think this should be a scheduled event, or at least one where they give you notice at say 9:00 or 10:00 am PST (using times GLU does when boxes come out or bonus players are announced). I don’t understand why they give 30 minutes notice for these. on a positive note- I absolutely love these events!

Yes- discount applies to skills. Make sure you upgrade your players on the "Improve" tab. I don't think the discount applies if you upgrade under the "Batters" or "Pitchers" tabs.

Update— I tried G10 Hiura repeatedly in the 4.10 and 6.9 spot in HOF WOH. I’m only gold and almost certainly no expert in WOH (I cycled classic once and HOF 3x with maybe 5-6 hours of off and on play today). I had the same experience when I had field pass last week and again this week. You only get the leveling discount when you grade the player up from the "Improve" tab in the "Team" menu.

Wow I didn't realize there would be such a big difference. Bronze level is trash and platinum has a huge edge over gold with the prime improvement boxes. Thanks for the help y'all. @whynot my IGN is DMP1, My team isn't going to overwhelm anyone, but probably not bad for only 3 weeks.

Thanks for your response. I can see the rewards for club tiers but not for MVP in CvC. Is that information in the game somewhere (MVP awards for the different tiers)? Are the all the same across club levels?
