I have the same problem. Two 8-hour gigs (started one before the event started but finished after and usually I get event stars when I do that) and no event stars. Android 5.1.1 KKH v4.1.0 Level 33

Isn't @KimKHollywood the official Twitter? They announced the update 19 hours ago. And that's why I knew about the update, not from other players.

Something weird is happening for me too - I completed the event, got the purple stars and the dress but the goal won't go away.
