Platinum warriors?

I was in a multiplayer match and got raped by a bunch of warriors in white. Im guessing these are platinum warriors or fully upgraded allies? Either way they are not extremely tough to beat but when it costs the same as a normal troop and you get bombarded by 20...you will get messed up. Can someone confirm what these warriors are and how theyre attained?

These are indeed white allies, attained by upgrading an ally to level 11. This will turn them into an 'elite' ally, more powerful than the usual ones. Hope this clears your answer. If not, feel free to pm me
