Do the even item effects do anything against the legendary monsters?

It seems like my ice and poison effects from the event weapons aren't doing anything against the legendary monsters in this event.

Anyone else able to confirm whether these are or aren't working against them?

I just tried an Ice Skull to test for immunity and it the Ice Skull worked. My Ice Skull only has a 21-22% effect meaning it only slows it down by 21-22% and for an unknown duration. So it might just be that the % on you items might just be too low to have a noticeable or meaningful affect.

Most of the bosses are slow so 20% would make a big difference. However, you'll notice it more in movement speed and they are so big they don't move much.

Yeah, I think you're correct. The effects on my weapons are between 40 and 50%, but I think the thing that threw me off was the lack of the visual effect. Seems like they're working at least today.
