I wanted to format my phone so I backed up the file flc2_save.dat. But when i reinstalled the game and pasted the file, i had to restart all over.
Is there any way to recover my save and not restart the game all over?

I do not believe there is a method to recover if the only file you backed up was the "flc2_save.dat". Flc2_save.dat file is created by other files within the game's directory. I believe upon starting the game flc2_save.dat is compared to perhaps... the database(s) within the game. If there is a difference between flc2_save.dat and the database(s), the game reverts to new game status. I also believe another possibility is an inaccurate hash between a fresh game install and the older flc2_save.dat file.
I have had success backing up the entire Frontline Commando 2 directory. I imagine there is probably an easier method.
