Let's discuss the new update! What's good? what's bad? what's odd?

The official notes that I've found so far:

BIG NEW UPDATE!
The Necromancer has revealed himself! Defeat the icy Minotaur to venture in the cursed Dark Realm...

• New dungeons & enemies added!
• New weapons and armour!
• More events on the way!
• Your level can now reach 50+
• Less courage required for many dungeons
• Bug fixes and performance improvements


Other things I've noticed so far:
The game kept track of my earned exp. On first log in, I was lvl 47, even though the previous max was 42.
The free gold and gems is gone (via watching videos or completing 3rd party items).
There is also a new Knight Pack that can be purchased in the next 24 hours, that seems to be a worse deal than the old ones. More gold, less gems, but it costs more money to purchase.

What other changes have you guys found? or what new items?

I found there's a terrible lag to the game now. Hopefully this will be addressed quickly.

Free gold and gems are still available on my game.

I have found a "Dark Templar Shield" which seems to be new.

I've found the Templar helm I've killed the necromancer and reached the max level immediately.

Noticed another good update when you take or sell an item at the merchant storage it doesn't reset you at the top of the list anymore
