dino hunt issue

I can not kill the last dino in the trophy hunt series level one. I have shot him in the circles with no results. I tried infared and shot him in the heart 3 times. My gun in at full capasity. What am I doing wrong?

I'm pretty sure I shot him/her 4 times in the red. So yes, a reload was needed.

It took me 4 shots to the weak points (marked by the red circles) as well. As Sunny Thai said, it does take a reload. You also have to aim and get the shots off very quickly so you get it before it gets you.

I kind of like having some challenge in the Dino Hunter trophy hunts versus DH2014.
