Arena gauntlet event problem

Something strange but consistently keeps happening in the arena the further I get in it. My freedom sniper rifle loses effectiveness. The damage # as I shoot enemies that comes off of them stays the same, but it takes more shots to kill the same opponents. Example: My freedom can always kill Dizzy or Gunner in 3 head shots. However when I get higher up in the arena levels, it takes 5 or more head shots to kill them. Also other 2 star squad mates on my enemies squads are taking more shots than it normally takes to kill 3 star squad mates. This happens all of the time in the arena. Just thought I'd mention it.
