what's with the game being so dang sporadic about when the whole freakin app has to restart?? I mean, what's the point of having developed a technology like multitasking for the iPhone when apps, like this one, either freak out and restart or just flat out start over every time you swap to it?

has anyone else had this issue?

I have the same problem when I have poor signal or out of WIFI SIGNAL. HOPE THIS HELPS.
