How many inactives players do you need to ahve to get a #1 round draft pick?

I have accumulated 40 players in hopes that I could get a #1 round Draft pick... still only have the option for a first rounder. Kind of a waste to trade in that many players because I could have done it back at 25 players.
Please advise

I have over 100 including plenty of guys from 3-3.5 stars, if I were you I'd do the trade now but it's probably too late for me

Wow!! Are you serious. I'm glad I read this post bc I was just going to stack up hoping for the a #1 pick myself. Thanks for the info.
