What about fan rewards for those who spent gold prior to Hunt for October?

Is there any possibility for for backdating the fan rewards system? I spent a lot of gold over the past month prior to the fan rewards update.

I spent 500 gold, then an hour later the new rewards program popped up and said I had spent 0. Sucks.
