Upgrade Hitting or Trainer first?

I have 5/9 in both hitting and trainer. I'm nearing $64,000 to upgrade. I need more hits, lately since I've reached MVP my players can't hit a lick. But hitting only provides 1.2% more hits while a trainer provides 3.5% more extra base hits.

which is better to upgrade first? Thanks.

G, I always went with with what was recommended. I believe it works as a combination.Hope this helps.

Personally I would go with hitting first. Then trainer. I figure you have to get the hit first before the game factors in power. I.E. Single or extra base hits. Hope that helps.
