You shoud be able to adjust your lineup pre game if u want to. You should also be able to have a few more subs, maybe 5. You might wanna start different players against lefties and righties. Players should be able to play a second position also if they do irl. Also you should be able to pinch hit at any time.

Why should you be able to pinch hit at any time? That doesn't make it more realistic. It isn't realistic to bring in a pinch hitter for, say, your shortstop with a first basemen in the 1st inning. What this would do is it would essentially allow you to have a player play any position you want him to by just having him pinch hit for whoever you want in the first inning.

True enough, but if u had more subs maybe you would have to pinch hit with a player that plays that position
