Accidentally used my gold

So I was looking at the buy players screen and my palm accidentally bought some average relief pitcher for 800 gold when I had no intentions to do so. Is there anything I can do to lose the pitcher and get the gold back? Pretty ****ed off that I had wasted the gold haha

They won't even provide gold when you prove you earned it, I wish I was wrong - but I highly doubt they are going to give you your gold back.
