Are there going to be any new events with player rewards for spending gold? How do people find out about them?

They are a surprise to everyone. GLU doesn't communicate with their customers whatsoever.

Sometimes I am afraid of the surprises from GLU. More new features means more new issues. It is kind of frustration.
