Can't play on iPad air

Since the update on the 21st of November I am unable to load the game on iPad air. When I touch the game icon on my home page the yellow face appears for about 10 seconds then the screen goes back to my home page. Pretty ****ed, has this happened to anyone else? I have the iOS 8.1.1 version running on the iPad air. It was working fine before it auto updated to this version.

My iOS (8.1.1) devices work fine. I have seen startup crash a few times before, but a few restart attempts clear it up.. Some things to try.....

Fully re-boot your iPad (Home + Power)
Try re-starting the game while connected to a STRONG WIFI connection a few times.

Same here, 8.1.1 iPad mini. Zero problems thus far. I hope you get it cleared up michealjp.

Thanks for you help gents but it's not working. Still crashes on start up. Looks like I'll have to play it on iPad mini. Cheers

Are you jailbroken? Jailbreaking is never a good idea. If not, then submit a ticket to Glu. THe iOS versions have been very stable for me.
