Update download failure

My device seems to think download of the new update is complete 39% in. I don't use Facebook or Google plus, so my username isnt synced with either of these programs. If I delete and reinstall will I lose eveything? I have more than 12,000 gold; I don't want to take any chances.

Yes, your account will be erased if you don't use FB or G+ to store your team information.

What I said in the previous post is not right, GLU puts the save file in their server no matter you connect your account to FB or G+. This means you can uninstall or clean your application data without losing your team progress if you use the same device to play this game.
