I am curious what Glu does when a player retires.

For example, in 2014 Derek Jeter, Paul Konerko, Jason Bartlett, Chris Getz and Bobby Abreu retired before the update and I can no longer find them in the draft. I assume if you have them on your team you can keep them until you replace them.

Others however, Eric Chavez, Adam Dunn, Josh Beckett and Brian Roberts retired before the update yet they can still be drafted.

This could have been adjusted in one of the more recent updates but since I do not record when I draft a player I only know I have seen them since the first of November.

I wonder why.

I was thinking about the International Prospects/Free Agents that will sign before the season. At what point will they be introduced to the game, and if so, what skill ratings would they have prior to playing in MLB?

I would assume that there will be a new game for 2015 and those guys won't be in it but rookies will
