Double rewards

I've had the game for a while now but I'm ready to give up on it. At the end of each battle I try to use the click for double rewards button so I can maybe make it somewhere in the game but it comes up with and eternal dragon that only goes away if I hit the home button or lock my screen any advice or help thx.
