So, out of the last week with my club and my 2 teams I have not gotten 1 5* or 4.5* player out of 40 picks. Nice casino. NOT! I'm getting carpal tunnel kicking Trevor May off my team, lol.
I've been this way for many more picks than that... Only player I've gotten in the last month was 4.5 star Nick Hundley.
One of my club members got Braun last night.
There's definitely something in place to not get you the players you need. I've gotten just about every second basemen that is worse than my current one(Kipnis 4.5 star). As well as outfielders who have the exact same attributes.. Whereas my second account gets nothing but relief pitchers(low ranking and they are all already 4-stars) or 3rd basemen(I have Valencia).
I agree I cannot get a 1st baseman for the life of me...... I still have Justin Morneau at 2.5 stars despite having to put a bunch of 4 star of on bench or have already been cut.
Okay, that sucks, same happens to me. I seem to get a lot of SP's and need help in bullpen. I also get a ton of OF's that are much lower than what I have starting. I did get tulo last week as a first rounder, not bad. I've had the same second baseman, scooter Gannett (L) 6-3-3, forever. And a switch hitting catcher, swihart, 6-3-5. Too bad we couldn't do direct trades . I have better 1st baseman then that sitting inactive. I don't even bother trading inactive back in for a draft pick because I end up getting the same player I just cut. What is the point??

This is the best line ever written in this forum. I sympathize with you, Nexxus, I had to file a restraining order to keep Phil Hughes from returning to my team.
Glu, you need to post the odds. Out of 40 you would expect 1. In legal terms this is called racketeering.
I almost wish I had your problem. Then at least I could think the odds are in my favor. I get 4-star shortstops all the time. There's clearly no history built into their code, so you can theoretically draft players at the same position with every pick. That explains why my bench is stacked with shortstops and I still have freakin Napoli at 1B. I've used probably 100 draft picks, I've gotten like two 1Bs.
I've only gotten 5-stars from multi-drafts(Braun, Betts, and Wade Davis).
While I've only gotten on 5-star guy ever (Syndegaard, who's decidedly mediocre (3.62 ERA, .241 BAA, .325 BABIP) over 61 starts at the Intermediate-to-Pro levels), he came as part of a multi-draft. You might be onto something.
I posted this numerous times before, but will post it again...
#1 Picks

1st Round Picks
5* - .5%
4.5* - 2%
4* - 7.5%
The reason you draft so many 3B or OF or SP at 5* is because there are much more of them to be obtained. Limited # of guys at 2B or SS make is more unlikely to draft them...

If this was in reference to me, I've added one 5-star player from draft picks, a pitcher (one who really isn't all that great).
Where are you getting your numbers from? Your own experience, or something legitimate? I appreciate you taking on the burden of posting again numbers out of the air, but based on your percentages, I should have 2 or 3 by now. If those numbers are legit, I might be compelled to get more draft picks. And thanks for not using any exclamation points in your post.
i got really lucky and got bryce harper with a first round pick a while back. sadly he will probably go from 9 hitting to about 5 if they update anytime soon
