Investment TV Endorsements question?

I paid for the TV Endorsement, in return you get 50 gold bars for 30 days. My question is, if you forget to collect on any particular day, do you lose the gold for that day? It seems as though you have 24 hours to collect, for example you are on day 18, forget to collect and it skips to day 19 and lose the gold for day 18. Can anyone confirm this to be true, I can't find any information on how this. thx

Make sure to collect daily.
