Daily and Weekly Challenges

Does anyone know how the stats for the Daily and Weekly challenges. I'm referring to the compete tab and the daily and weekly tabs. They rank based on hits, runs, and wins but it doesn't seem like any rhyme or reason for how they are calculated or whatever games go towards this... anyone know?
