Why do my 4 and a half star diamond pitchers suck?

Every time I see the stats at the end of the game it's them giving up some earned runs. I even swapped them throughout the bullpen and I am getting the same result no matter where i place them. I even tried leveling them up and nothing.

Any advice on this? Is it just bad luck?

In my experience, at diamond level, 4.5* guys just dont cut it. You need 5* players at diamond to compete.

Its because the game is rigged and punishes you for improving your players. No matter what you try to do to get ahead, the algorithms Glu has to simulate the games will always make the other team have a 50% chance of winning no matter what. Sorry to break it to you.

ZombieNation is right. this game is extremely predictable, I can tell u over 90% of the time when the defense is gonna pull a double play on me before I start to bat, and how many runs the the other team will score!
