Glitch on ground outs to 1B

This has happened about 6 times to me in the last few days... I'll hit a grounder in the infield, the pitcher will run to cover first, then the first basemen will underhand throw the ball to the pitcher covering 1B and the ball rolls on the ground and the pitcher never receives the ball, but I'm called out.  Just seems like a glitch.
