Lost gold while buying Buster Packs

On Wednesday, I bought 4 Buster packs for the homerun battle challenge.  I went to upgrade the 4 players I just bought and found out that they were not there.  I ended up sending this to the customer service department.  The response they gave me was, "Players can be improved/upgraded.  The game will add a new player you just received who has a potential to be a higher rating to the active list if you choose the "potential" option."  To me it sounds like customer service does not know their own products.  Buster packs should automatically be added to the 4 open spots I have for those players.  So Glu took my 800 gold and did not give me the players that I bought.  I understand that the game has problems, but the customer service is also terrible.  They do not know the product and have a hard time explaining things.
