Can we go back to autopromoting please

Lots of people are avoiding playing tournaments and bonus games cause they know the more the play the harder the competition gets. Can we change this? It's no fun when you have to constantly be worried about how many games you play.

i don't know the fix for this but autopromoting seemed to work well last year.
