I just advanced to the next level and noticed that gold was replaced with franchise coins as the reward.  I've heard that GLU doesn't read these, but this is seriously not cool.

Without gold to improve my team, I need to use franchise coins.   When I'm out of those they want $$ to buy franchise coins.  Ugh

It will most likely be replaced in the next update. I'm assuming it was the only quick fix for a glitch that was there because of the last update. Avoid leveling up until then.
