Games keep disappearing

I've noticed lately that about half of the games I start just disappear after a few innings. It seems like it usually happens when I'm winning. What's the deal? If the other player quits because they're losing, I should still get credit for a win, but when I check the game history, there won't be anything there for that particular opponent. This is getting so frustrating.
