Hitting to pitcher

it is getting very frustrating where I hit directly to the pitcher every inning. It usually leads to  DP. What am I doing wrong. These are on fastballs or change ups. I try to avoid curves and sliders. It is also uncanny that the count is e and 0 and yet the pitcher can throw 3 curves in a row for strikes. Sounds like a dix to me.
