5 star specialty pick??

I was able to grab the 100th spot over the weekend prime event and won a 5 star specialty pick.

But, my team is gold tier, and the pick was a silver-tier Braun.

Completely useless. 

What's the point of having obsolete level picks? Fortunately I didn't waste any gold on it...

any picks won from club ranking or score can only be equal to the level of your club. You may be gold, but is your club still silver?
